Creative Railcar Marketing Services Announces Opening of New Railcar Cleaning and Maintenance Facility in El Dorado, Kansas

New all-in-one railcar facility is located along the Kansas Turnpike and will provide comprehensive services including railcar cleaning and maintenance, material transloading, railcar storage, and railcar scrapping.

Chicago, IL (June 9, 2011) – Creative Railcar Marketing Services (CRMS) is announcing the opening of a new railcar services facility in El Dorado, Kansas.  The facility will serve as a one-stop-shop for varied railcar needs.  It is scheduled to open on Wednesday, June 15, 2011

The facility is located in El Dorado, Kansas, about 25 miles from Wichita.  The location is served by BNSF rail.  It is easily accessible by truck via Interstate 35 - The Kansas Turnpike.

The primary focus of this facility is railcar cleaning and maintenance; it is an AAR F&G shop.  Additional services provided will include transloading of both solid and liquid materials, storage space for up to 300 railcars, and on-site railcar scrapping.

“This expansion of our shop network will be a great way for our customers to save money by increasing the efficiency of their fleet”, said Craig Bargowski, President of CRMS.

Cleaning services will be performed by the Tactical Cleaning Company which also operates shops in Montana, Colorado, Nebraska, and Louisiana.  Maintenance services will be performed by UTLX – The Union Tank Car Company.
